Hereby, the motion controller can be configured practically in any way and it gives a maximum degree of freedom in the design of the system.

There are various input / output modules for coupling digital process signals.

In addition, there are modules with special functions for fast pulse counting and triggered position detection.

Analog inputs and outputs

Analog inputs and outputs

These modules for connecting analog process signals.

The following types are available:

  • 4 Inputs (14 bit bipolar)
  • 4 Outputs (14 bit bipolar)
RS232 interface

RS232 interface

For communication with external devices, the motion controller can be equipped with serial RS232 interfaces.

The interfaces can be used for different purposes:

  • Access to multi-port variables via pNET protocol
  • Program-controlled communication with other devices
Encoder modules

Encoder modules

These modules serve as secondary position measurement system to improve mechanical accuracy in conjunction with the servo controllers.

In addition, these modules can also be operated stand-alone to connect probes or master axes.

The following encoder interfaces can be used:

  • EnDat 2.2
  • BiSS
  • SSI
  • Incremental RS422
Position controller

Position controller

With these modules position control loops are realized in connection with external speed controllers.

The speed setting for the speed controller is made via a high-resolution analog output.

For position detection, encoders with incremental signals or SSI interface can be used.

The following encoder interfaces can be used:

  • SSI
  • Incremental RS422
